My LashExtend review

I have been using EyeSense LashExtend for a month now with positive results.

My lashes are definitely longer.

I could kick myself for not doing before and after photos. I think I was a bit skeptical about a product promising to do what the prescription strength formulas do and at fourth the cost! You can see some before and after photos here.

My lashes aren’t necessarily fuller but they are definitely longer that they were a month ago. I have deep set eyes and my eyelids are getting droopy with age. (There’s an eye lift in my future!) I have naturally curled eyelashes which is usually a blessing but in my case they just get lost in my heavy lids. The LashExtend has lengthened my lashes enough so that they are too long to get lost in my eye lids. No hurry for that eye lift now!

I give EyeSense LashExtend two thumbs up. It does what it promises and lengthened my lashes 25% in 14 days.  Totally worth $45 for a four to six month supply. Compare that to Revitalash at $150.

I also like that it is safe to use. There are no chemicals, just all-natural Peptides to promote Keratin for long, thick eyelashes. I didn’t have any itching, burning, or redness and I didn’t have to fear something bad happening if it accidentally got into my eyes.

Eye Makeup Tips

EyeSense™, BrowSense™, and LashSense™ (names used by SeneGence™ for eyeliner, eyebrow, and mascara products) are made using the same pigment technology, offering a natural alternative to other man-made products, which contain chemicals that often irritate sensitive skin and eyes. BrowSense™ needs to be shaken horizontally prior to application. The BrowSense™ delivery system is unique and effective. One end of the applicator is a controllable sable brush that is used to apply the color to the eyebrow with short, hair-length strokes. Once the color has been applied, take the brush end of the applicator and smooth away any excess color for even, natural coloration. If desired, repeat these steps until the desired color intensity is achieved. Using BrowSense™ is a wonderful option to dying your eyebrows that produces a natural look. If you are bored with your eyebrows, applying this product will heighten your brow, drawing attention away from other skin imperfections.

LashSense™ is applied by lightly stroking lashes from the base of the lash to the tip. For thicker lashes, allow the first coat to dry before applying the next. The curved brush allows for easy application for those difficult-to-reach lashes in the corner of the eyes.

FAQ

1. Can I combine colors?
Definitely. This is one of the benefits of the three layer application. You can use any of the colors to come up with various new shades to best suit you. Some colors lend themselves to applying over others, mostly used for this are Pink and Gold Champagne.

2. Why do I notice a tingling sensation when I put on the Lipsense lipcolor?
You have dry lips! Those without dry lips do not notice the tingling sensation. Dry lips are caused by repeated use of wax and paraffin based lipsticks, which by their nature can cause dry lip tissue. You can eliminate this be conditioning the lips for a few days and not using any wax based products. Once you use the Lipsense and the Lipsense moisture gloss on a regular basis the dry lips will be gone forever.

This is so true. I recently forgot my LipSense on a weekend getaway. I know, the horror! I used another brand that dried my lips out in those few days. When I applied my LipSense lip color the tingling was back until my lips got their moisture back.

3. Is the Lipsense lip color FDA approved?
The FDA does not approve any products. The FDA does however, approve the ingredients in various products, and the ingredients in Lipsense are FDA approved.

4. How long will Lipsense last?
The length of time the color will last on anyone varies depending on several factors, one of which is body chemistry. Most women will find the color will last all day, when reapplying the gloss throughout the day.

5. Why should I purchase the whole set?
As a person eats and drinks, the gloss comes off and needs to be reapplied a few times during the day to keep the color renewed and increase it’s staying power. If you are using the product properly you will see that the color will last all day long.

6. What happens if I should spill the color on my clothes?
The color is easily removed by having the item dry-cleaned.

7. Can I sell Lipsense to my friends?

LipSense Application Tips

Apply in one direction from the outside corner of the mouth in a fluid, sweeping motion. Let each layer dry for 3-5 seconds before applying the next layer. The long-lasting properties of LipSense are enhanced by our moisturizing glosses that will keep your lips moist, plump and protected. 

Tips and hints: 

1) Be sure to keep your lips apart while applying LipSense® and resist the urge to press your lips together like you would with regular lipsticks. Pressing the lips together is not necessary to disperse the color, and it may create a tacky feel to you. 

2) You may feel a slight tingling sensation, and if so, it is just an indication that your lips are dry. Once you apply the Moisturizing Gloss, any tacky or tingling feeling will subside immediately. After using the products for a few weeks, your lips should become beautifully conditioned and all tingling should subside. Just be sure to re-apply the gloss product throughout the day to keep the color fresh and your lips conditioned.
